Because of the expansion of air mail and parcel business with the consequent ever-increasing demand for high-value stamps, another lot of Flying Geese Stamps bearing no face value was given to the Central Engraving and Printing Works, Taipei for overprinting the face value. The overprint was done in Art Square characters by zinc plates. The characters were overprinted in a horizontal line, and the decoration panel in which the Arabic figures were overprinted was altered into a rectangular shape. These stamps are commonly known as the〝Third Print Flying Geese.〞
